During her Marchon FilmFest interview, Miya talked about her late father, especially his compassion for those in need. She said, “He was such a generous man and a people person. He absolutely adored children. He even worked for the United Nations as a peace ambassador.”

After their divorce, Ali married his second wife, Belinda Boyd, a year later. They had four older half-siblings together: Maryum, who is a rapper and was born in 1968, Jamillah and Rasheda, who are twins born in 1970, and Muhammad Ali Jr., who was born in 1972.
Khaliah, Ali’s other half-sister, was born in 1974 as a result of her father’s extramarital relationship with Aaisha Ali. Ali got married to actress and model Veronica Porché for the third time. Miya was then promoted to account manager at Master Food Brokers. In 2008, she joined the Park Ridge Marriott in New Jersey as a sales manager. After a year, she landed the same position at New York City’s Room Mate Grace Hotel.
